Ukrainian Cinema Days in London is a unique opportunity to discover Ukraine beyond the headlines. Despite war and the resulting political turmoil, there are other stories emerging from this extraordinary country. Bold, inspiring and unexpected, Ukrainian cinema has been enchanting audiences at the most prestigious film festivals and cinemas around the world. Now it’s London’s turn to celebrate the emerging cinematic talents and discover some of the masterpieces of Ukrainian contemporary and classical cinema.
Screenings will be followed by Q&A with directors, producers and actors of the films.
Ukrainian Cinema Days in London are presented by Igor Iankovskyi Charity foundation Initiative for the Future, Molodist International Film Festival and the Ukrainian Film State Agency.
Produced by Dash Arts, an international arts organisation that produces theatre, dance, music, film and art events in collaboration with exceptional artists from abroad to present artistic experiences that change the way we see the world. Supported by Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain (AUGB) and the Embassy of Ukraine in the UK. With no other chance to survive in a foreign land, the boy becomes his guide.
