It has become a tradition for the business community of the City of London to celebrate the Ukrainian Christmas at the Ukrainian-British City Club. This is the 10^th time we are gathering our members and friends to celebrate the birth of Christ in a Ukrainian way, to partake in the traditional Ukrainian Christmas foods and listen to the Ukrainian carols, to meet old friends and contacts, and make new.

The Jubilee 10^th Ukrainian Christmas Reception will take place at the Bridewell Hall, St Bride Foundation, Bride Lane, Fleet Street, London EC4Y 8EQ (nearest Tube station – Blackfriars).  In the programme:

• festive greetings from the Embassy of Ukraine, special guests, the UBCC Board of Directors and sponsors of the raffle
• traditional Ukrainian Christmas cuisine from Nataliya Rychko
• live Ukrainian Christmas Carols
• Christmas charity raffle and Ukrainian souvenir stall for the benefit of the Ukraine Charity

Admission is by invitation only.

What to expect?

This year we will be again running a Christmas raffle in support of the Ukraine Charity, so you can become a lucky winner of a business class trip to Ukraine with Ukraine International Airlines and many other exciting prizes from our corporate members and sponsors. As usual, the hot delicious Ukrainian treats – varenyky and holubtsi, kutya and aromatic uzvar, syrnyk and makivnyk, and many more – will be served, and you will be treated to a special live performance of Ukrainian Christmas carols, including the famous Shchedryk (“Carol of the Bells”).

For the first time, we will be joined at our celebration by the newly appointed ambassador of Ukraine in the United Kingdom, HE Natalia Galibarenko, who will give a special address to our members and guests.

UBCC corporate members are entitled to bring with them up to 2 guests free of charge, provided the names and email addresses of the guests are submitted to the UBCC before 15 January 2016.

The UBCC members will be sent their invitations free of charge upon registration. Non-members will be allocated provisional places (subject to availability) pending payment of GBP33 per person (please make payment to the account of Ukrainian-British City Club, sort code 090666, account number 41721102, reference “your surname”). Please note that we are unable to accept payment on the door.

Any non-members who join the UBCC before 15 January 2016 and pay their membership fee will be entitled to attend the Ukrainian Christmas Reception free of charge.
