Join us and help us keep the tradition going!

Ukrainian choirs, musicians, and singers will join the walk and will keep you entertained along the way.

Vyshyvanka is a name for the embroidered shirt of the Ukrainian national costume. The embroidery is full of symbolism and many people, especially in the old days, used to view vyshyvanka as a talisman. Every of 24 regions of Ukraine has its special embroidery techniques and patterns.

Embroidery Day is intended to unite Ukrainians all over the world regardless of their gender, social status, religious beliefs or political opinions.

In the last few years, Embroidery Festival has turned into a global cultural diplomacy opportunity for the numerous communities around the world, and a national statement inside the country.

The London Ukrainian community has run this Festival every year since 2012 and welcomes all nationalities to join in the celebration by wearing beautiful embroidered garments during peaceful and joyful processions.
