For his 9th London Marathon, Antoine Pesenti will be running in support of ‘Ukrainian Film Days‘, to be held by the Ukrainian Institute London and Art House Traffic. Join us on Sunday, 28 April, 11:45 to meet the runner on the marathon track at Embankment and at 12:30 at St James Park after the finish to celebrate with a glass of champagne (provided by the organizers).

The film festival will showcase the best of Ukrainian contemporary film to London audiences. All films will be UK premieres, and the final programme will be unveiled in autumn 2019. Ukrainian actors and directors will also be invited to London to take part in post-screening discussions, alongside London-based film experts.

The festival will take place across several prestigeous cinemas in central London and will open with a gala reception, featuring cinema stars and film directors! Save the dates now – 5-8 December 2019!

We hope you can help Antoine in his goal to support Ukrainian film and to build ties between Ukraine and Britain!

Antoine has run 8 London marathons in recent years, and has collected thousands of pounds in support of various causes. His 2018 result was 3hrs 06min, which he hopes to beat this year!

A short note about the festival’s organisers. Ukrainian Institute London is a London-based charity, working towards a better-informed discourse about Ukraine in Britain. Art House Traffic is a leading Kyiv-based cinema agency promoting Ukrainian film abroad and foreign film in Ukraine.
