WHERE:  Online

WHEN:

Wednesday, 26th January 2022 at 18:00-19:30 GMT
The discussion panel will include the book editor Dr Svitlana Biedarieva (the Courtauld Institute of Art and University of London), a Ukrainian-Estonian artist Andrij Bojarov and Dr Uilleam Blacker (UCL), and will be moderated by Professor Andreas Umland (the Ukrainian Institute for the Future in Kyiv and the Swedish Institute of International Affairs in Stockholm).
The discussion will explore the transformations that art in Ukraine and the Baltic countries has undergone since their independence in 1991, and consider the resistance of culture against economic and political crises.
