Alina Bzhezhinska – internationally acclaimed harpist/composer, the winner of the PRS Women Make Music Award 2018, celebrates the extraordinary music of Alice Coltrane & John Coltrane and presents her own works in an extensive tour 2018.

Alina’s stellar quartet consisting of award-winning jazz saxophonist Tony Kofi, double bass player/composer Larry Bartley and drummer Joel Prime recently completed a series of sold out shows, including their opening performance for Pharaoh Sanders at The Barbican to 2,000 people during The EFG London Jazz Festival, earning universal rave reviews.

“Ukrainian-Polish harpist Alina Bzhezhinska is perhaps the foremost contemporary interpreter of Alice Coltrane’s work. ” London Jazz News

Alina has just recorded Inspiration, her UK debut album, which will be released on the Ubuntu Music record label in Spring 2018. The line-up for the album and tour is: Alina Bzhezhinska – Harp, Tony Kofi – saxophones, Larry Bartley – Double Bass, Joel Prime – Drums/Percussion.

“The mainstays are Alina’s innovative harp playing and saxophonist Tony Kofi’s incredible channeling of John Coltrane while unmistakably possessing his own powerful identity.”
