As an impeachment inquiry into Donald Trump kicks off, join UCL SSEES to understand the context of the situation and the role of Ukraine.

We are bringing together an expert panel discussing the Ukrainian ‘scandal’ that kicked off the whole process, the current impeachment proceeding and it’s likelihood of success and the implications of this turn of events for 2020 US elections and wider consequences for democratic institutions in the US, Ukraine, and Eastern Europe, the land in between.

Panel:

Professor Andrew Wilson, Professor of Ukrainian Studies

Dr Brian Klaas, Assistant Professor in Global Politics

Dr Sherrill Stroschein, Reader in Politics, Dept of Political Science
