Slava Ukraini features writers Dr Olesya Khromeychuk, Andrey Kurkov and Serhiy Zhadan, musicians from the London Contemporary Orchestra, and readings by actors Ben Whishaw, Jonathan Pryce and Juliet Stevenson, including poetry by Ilya Kaminsky.

The line-up of Ukrainian and British guests attending in person and via live link-up from Ukraine also includes Ukrainian classical musicians Yuriy Yurchuk, Kseniia Nikolaieva, Dinara Klinton, Rozanna Madylus and Stefan Bulyha.

Expect further announcements about the line-up in the coming week.

All net proceeds from the event and all further funds raised on the evening will be donated to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC).

DEC brings together the UK’s leading aid charities to respond to humanitarian crises. 13 of DEC’s member charities are working directly, or through their local partners, on the ground in Ukraine and in neighbouring countries to help refugees fleeing the conflict.

Slava Ukraini is organised in partnership with the Ukrainian Institute, and supported by the British Council.
