• Ukrainian society is actively and rapidly changing. In the past 18 months, paradigms and stereotypes that had formed over decades of post-Soviet experience have been upended. Among the most important of these changes is the transformation of a divided society into a more unified political nation. The speaker will present survey results on current events and processes of transformation in Ukraine, Ukrainians’ attitudes towards the conflict in Donbas and various approaches to conflict resolution, and views of Russia, the EU, the United States and NATO.
