More About the Event

The international team of the event involves both professional concert pianists and talented amateurs – students and alumni of the Central Saint Martins university.

A varied program encompasses romanticist and impressionist pieces by celebrated Western composers, Ukrainian classical music, works composed by our participants inspired by Ukrainian academic and folk music and an acoustic performance reflecting the current political environment.

Music has different effects – it brings pleasure and comfort, but it also disturbs and calls for action. It is an indirect form of communication, which allows us to embody emotions in the most precise and tangible way. Yet we would like to challenge the traditional format of a music concert, by giving a platform for musicians to verbalize a feeling they put in their music, reveal approaches and share insights that usually remain unseen to the viewer.
