Vladimir Pastukhov is a Fellow of St Anthony’s College Oxford and Advisor to the Chair of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation.  He is a member of the International Bar Association, Professor of Corporate Law at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow and Member of the Russian Academy of Humanitarian Sciences.  He has advised the State Duma on Economic Development and Intellectual Property, and Moscow City Government on social policy.

Anna Reid was the Kiev correspondent for the Economist and the Daily Telegraph from 1993-5. She is the author of Borderland: a Journey through the History of Ukraine, an updated version of which has just been reissued by Weidenfeld & Nicolson. Her other books are The Shaman’s Coat: a Native History of Siberia, and Leningrad: Tragedy of a City under Siege, 1941-44, which has been translated into ten languages and was shortlisted for the Duff Cooper Prize.
