Chartwell was the family home of Sir Winston Churchill from 1922 until his death in 1965. The house is still much as it was when the family lived here – pictures, books and personal mementoes evoking the career and wide-ranging interests of this influential family. The studio is home to the largest single collection of Churchill’s paintings.

Chiddingstone  – one of the prettiest villages in Kent, and perhaps England, Chiddingstone is a beautiful example of a Tudor one-street village. Most of the buildings are more than 200 years old.
