About DJ Offbeatterrorist
Janeck Altshuler AKA Offbeatterrorist arrived in Germany in 2001 from southeast Ukraine. In this time dancing to Eastern European rhythms was not a fully established trend, but the crowd in Germany was receptive to his new sound from “the other side of the Iron Curtain”. Janeck’s uptempo beats or deep grooves have inspired devoted club-goers of his “La Bolschevita” nights and other parties in Germany, as well as in Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Slovakia and even Kosovo for years with wild dance orgies. His unique mix of balkan tuba bass and klezmer melodies from Ukraine with cumbia and other tropical music, swing or electro-swing is THE way to energize the dance floor.
