Professor Edward Byrne AC, President & Principal of King’s College London will be introducing the fifth annual Annual Fulbright Distinguished Lecture Series in International Relations. This edition of the lecture focusses on recent events in Russia and Ukraine and will be given by Ambassador Jack Matlock, former United States Ambassador to the Soviet Union

Jack Matlock is a former American ambassador, career Foreign Service Officer, teacher, historian, and linguist. He was a specialist in Soviet affairs during some of the most tumultuous years of the Cold War, and served as US Ambassador to the Soviet Union from 1987 to 1991.

The Lecture is being given in association with the US-UK Fulbright Commission, and the Lois Roth Endowment, and will be followed by a reception.
