On a sunny day in 2077 Ihor Haiduk wakes up in his Washington apartment to find a killer drone watching him. Soon he is fleeing assassins in an armour-plated limousine. He hitches a ride over war torn Europe on a hospital aircraft and enters Ukraine illegally to track down his enemies
“Realm of Darkness” is a post apocalyptic Cossack Western… the book Gogol might have written in a fall out shelter after a dose of mescaline…
“Realm of Darkness”, originally published in Ukrainian as “Час Смертохристів”, has been rendered into English by Steve Komarnyckyj.
