This panel discussion, due to take place in the House of Lords on March 17th will discuss recent developments in Ukraine and Russia. It is organized by The Project for Democratic Union (PDU), a political think-tank which makes the case for a full political union of the Eurozone.
Speakers:
Tony Brenton
Sir Tony Brenton is a former British diplomat who, amongst many other placements throughout his career, served as the United Kingdom’s ambassador to Russia from 2004-2008. He is currently a fellow of Wolfson College, Cambridge.
Rory Finnin
Dr. Rory Finnin is a senior lecturer in Ukrainian Studies at the University of Cambridge. He is an expert on national identity in Ukraine. He holds a PhD from Columbia University.
Sarah Lain
Olesya Khromeychuk
Dr. Olesya Khromeychuk is a lecturer in Ukrainian Studies. Her research focuses on the role of women in guerrilla violence in the country, particularly in the context of the Second World War.
