On each Saturday of the performance run of Burning Doors, join Belarus Free Theatre and artists, activist and journalists to discuss issues around contemporary art, politics, activism and the media. Platform discussions are in integral part of BFT’s approach to theatre, drawn directly from its work in Minsk where the space for free exchange of ideas and open debate is as valuable as the space in which to see independent theatre.

Natalia Kaplan, Oleg Sentsov’s cousin who is campaigning for his release, will be in London to raise awareness of his case and that of the Kremlin Hostages. Joined byHeather McGill (Amnesty International) and Jason McCue (Human Rights Laywer –TBC), she will speak about the conditions of Oleg’s imprisonment and the wider impact of Russia’s use of show trials to control dissent and fuel its propaganda machine.

Ticket price includes a Belarusian snack.

Running Time: 60 mins
