A journalist, educator and researcher focusing on digital media and the journalism in transitional societies, Yevhen Fedchenko founded Stopfake.org in 2014, in an attempt to disrupt the propaganda war between Russia and Ukraine and reintroduce truth to the ostensibly ‘post-truth’ media landscape of what has become known as ‘hybrid warfare’. Join us for a presentation of a documentary film on the challenges this effort has faced in Ukraine, followed by a presentation and q&a.
