The Point of No Return – In Conversation is a series of post-show discussions hosted by BeFrank Theatre Company exploring the themes behind the play, featuring guest speakers to accompany performances of The Point of No Return. These events are free for ticket holders (otherwise £5).

In response to recent global events, our society has witnessed increasing restrictions on freedom of expression. Join BeFrank Theatre Company in a vital evening of debate and discussion about the future of free speech in the UK, Ukraine and across the world; a subject which is increasingly pertinent in today’s politicised climate.

“Silencing the People” Topic tackles the folllowing questions:

  • How important is freedom of speech to democracy?
  • What form did censorship take in the Ukrainian revolution, and how is it applied in the UK today?

In response to recent global events, our society has witnessed increasing restrictions on freedom of expression. Join BeFrank Theatre Company and Sherrill Stroschein from University College London, Jodie Ginsberg CEO (Index on Censorship) and Kate Maltby (Freelance journalist) in a vital evening of debate and discussion about the future of free speech.
