Leading up to Olha Pryymak show this February (19-25)  at Krilova Stelfox gallery, an idea came up to create a forum during the show to discuss how expat artists, writers, and musicians alike, in the past and present reacting to the violence and war in their home countries. 

Panel Discussion

  • Svitlana Pyrkalo: London-based Ukrainian writer and journalist, originator of the BBC Ukrainian annual book prize 
  • Natalia Antonova: playwright and journalist (Guardian, Moscow Times) managing editor at ROOM journal;
  • Zoe Marriage: SOAS programme convenor for MSc Violence, Conflict and Development Zoë also writes the Violence, Conflict & Development @ SOAS Blog, a convenor’s-eye view of the MSc Violence, Conflict and Development (VCD) programme.
