The Ukrainian Investment Roadshow returns to once again provide a platform for Ukraine’s leading corporates to come together and meet with the City of London’s most influential emerging markets fund managers, investment bankers and advisors and a wide range of stakeholders from London’s financial community, not to mention a wide range of present and potential strategic investors.

In March of last year 150 senior representatives of leading Ukrainian corporates, present and potential international strategic investors, major international investment banks, Emerging Markets-focused investment funds, senior officials and advisors came together in London to discuss Ukrainian companies’ capital raising activities and international investors’ appetite for Ukrainian issuers.

Early confirmations for this year’s Roadshow include:

• Nicholas Tymoshchuk, CEO of UFUTURE Investment Group, will provide an insight into the capital-raising plans for this dynamically growing group with a diversified portfolio of assets, including renewables, hi-tech, infrastructure and manufacturing;
• Ilya Ponomarev, CEO of Trident Acquisitions Corp, will update you on potential acquisition targets following the recent successful IPO, as well as discuss the use of Special Purpose Acquisition Companies as a means for raising finance for Ukrainian investment activity;
• Sergiy Oleksiyenko, Board Member, Finance, at Ukrtransgaz (and Independent Member of the Supervisory Board of Privatbank), will provide an insight into the role of the CFO and capital-raising activities at the gas transmission and storage company, fully owned by Naftogaz of Ukraine;
• Lenna Koszarny, Founding Partner & CEO of Horizon Capital, will share their unparalleled experience of private equity in Ukraine and will focus on key target industries, how to identify quality management teams and how to formulate clear exit strategies;
• Mykhailo Merkulov, CEO of Arricano Real Estate, the London-listed commercial real estate developer, will discuss market sentiment towards Ukrainian listed entities, as well as touch upon market opportunities in Ukrainian commercial real estate.

Plus organisers will introduce EM Institutional Investor Advisory Panel, featuring the likes of Tim Ash, BlueBay Asset Management, Oleksiy Soroka of Allianz Global Investors and Stefan Benedetti of Amundi Asset Management, who will play an active role in the course of the day, providing timely market insight and opinion.
