“Recovery Room” is a feature documentary (75 minutes) that tells the story of several humanitarian Canadian Medical Missions to Ukraine. Plastic surgeons with their specialized team of 25 Canadian health professionals, perform reconstructive surgeries on wounded Ukrainian soldiers – victims of the Russian invasion of Eastern Ukraine. The team has just completed its 5th mission.
“Recovery Room” is earning international accolades, and brings the ongoing struggle in Ukraine to the world stage. While it shows the bleak realities for innocent Ukrainians, it is also a story of hope, and the selfless Canadians determined to help.
