About the musicians:
Vasyl’ Savenko
Vasyl’ Savenko was born in Odesa region, Ukraine in 1949. He graduated from the Odesa National Nezhdanova Academy of Music and the Tchaikovsky State Conservatory in Moscow. Vasyl’ Savenko had been working at Dnipro State Academiс Opera and Ballet House for 9 years.
Caroline Hames
Caroline Hames graduated from London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. She also was an Interpreter and Accompanying Officer for British Council, Foreign and Commonwealth Office. What’s more, she speaks Polish.
Orpheus Papafilippou
Orpheus Papafilippou is the leader and founder of the Orfeas String Quartet & Ensemble. As a recital artist he has given concerts of Classical, Central European and Balkan Folk music in the UK and Europe, recently performing Schindler’s List for the Holocaust Memorial at the Slovak Embassy and Sarasate Zigeunerweizen.
