An unstaged concert version of Verdi’s Nabucco to raise money for the British Red Cross and their humanitarian aid in the Ukraine crisis.

About this event

Join an international cast to hear this transformative work about Nebuchadnezzar II, his conquest of Jerusalem and it’s people, his resulting downfall and then his peace-forming conversion to Judaism. This stunning opera by Verdi is performed each season in houses all over the world. Its famous ‘chorus of the Hebrew slaves’ is a staple of opera galas and operatic compilations.
