Take part in the ancient tradition of egg decorating that will beautifully adorn your table and home at Easter. And help Ukraine at the same time!

This is an afternoon workshop. Located at the beautiful Grade-I-listed St Cuthbert’s church. The participants will learn several methods for decorating eggs, and then produce some of their own. You will be able to keep everything that you create and will be able to decorate your festive table with these one-of-a-kind decorations.

Examples of what materials will be available for you so you can create the perfect easter egg include; traditional pysanky designs, as well as ribbons, jewelry, dyes, and even tattoo appliqués. Everything you need to unleash your creativity, with the help of professional instruction while participating in a millennial cultural tradition!

Important to Know

• Tea and coffee will be available throughout the workshop.
• Participants should bring their own eggs to decorate; all other craft materials will be provided at the site.
• Ideal for craft-lovers, heritage enthusiasts, adults, and children alike, however the recommended age; is 8+. Moreover, all children must be accompanied by an adult.

By participating, you will be assisting those in need: 75% of all profits from this event will go to the DEC Red Cross crisis fund for Ukraine.
